Weird but True

Joey was enjoying the 10th book in Lemony Snickett's A Series of Unfortunate Events series. Like many of our family's books, we got the series second-hand. As Joey flipped the page she

saw the book's previous owner had left her a token- right between page 142 and 143 was a human tooth!

I did some reading about the symbolism of teeth and it is said that teeth can be symbolic of power. They can also be used to help something abstract to feel more concrete.

If anyone has any insight on what finding a tooth in a book might symbolize, I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts!
