This was a really good book. I really enjoyed it, if you want to know the truth. It's not the type of book I usually choose. It really isn't. But old Salinger was never a bore. I didn't think

I'd ever want to read a page and a half about suitcases. I thought that'd be lousy. But it wasn't. It really wasn't. I swear it. My favorite part of the book was old Salinger's technique. I have to admit it. He used double contractions and words like whaddaya and all that. It killed me. I have to admit it. Old Caulfield also killed me. I mean I really thought he was very intellectual. He really killed me if you want to know the truth. The only part that was a little lousy was the end. I expected something bigger to happen and all. I was waiting for something to happen but then it was just the end. It's funny with those intellectual guys. Nothing happens if they're not in the mood. You really have to be in the mood for that and all.
